It takes a lot to get excited about a gig on a Monday. The drudgery of the new work week is just setting in, and the thought of going out to a bar to see bands can be pretty overwhelming.

But, when the lineup for a gig is Caspian and The Appleseed Cast? We’ll get excited about that any day of the week.

After a great start to the night from The Appleseed Cast, Caspian took the stage while the room was pitch black to a haunting reading of a Charles Bukowski poem. The band proceeded to power through a set featuring several tracks from their latest release, Dust And Disquiet, while mixing in classic favorites like “Gone in Bloom and Bough” and “Sad Heart of Mine.”
