Often Home is indie rock band of four college friends from Grand Rapids, MI that make music that is authentic to their story in hopes that it might help other people feel comfortable trying to live in the same way. From anthems of hopeful optimism to songs of questioning despair, Aaron, Ethan, Carson, and Cody bring the upbeat melodies of pop music and combine them with the grit of rock and roll in attempts to answer the questions that life has the tendency to bring.
They released first self-titled, self produced EP in September of 2019 and with fun-loving songs like “Quickly” and “Rise,” they quickly caught the ears of their West Michigan listeners. They then released their single “My Heart” in March of 2019 which has captured over 25,000 streams on Spotify and included playlist placements on Spotify’s “Fresh Finds” and “Fresh Finds: Six Strings” playlists as well as alexrainbirdMusic’s “March 2019 Indie/Rock/Alternative Compilation.” They’re latest release, “RSVP” was released in July of 2019.
Having shared the stage with bands like The Beths, Bad Bad Hats, Brother Elsey, and others, these four also put on an energy packed live show that’ll have you singing, dancing, and clapping along because of the heartfelt joy that exudes out of them during a show.
