After seven years, four full-length albums, and 700 globe-spanning live shows, The Screaming Females continues to exude a frenetic energy which is built upon the zeitgeist of America’s punk and indie underground. The trio got their start playing basements in New Brunswick, NJ, and has gone on to achieve success through exposure on NPR, Last Call with Carson Daly, and MTV. In 2012 Marissa Paternoster was named the 77th greatest guitarist of all time by Spin magazine.
